Iako SEGA Ages počinje ovoga tjedna (prvo na japanskom, a kasnije i na drugim tržištima), Segi nije dosta ponuđivanje svojih velikih klasika. Najavljen je i poseban naslov SEGA Genesis Classics koji će biti dostupan u fizičkom i digitalnom izdanju, a u kolekciji će imati preko 50 igara iz vremena kada je harala njihova Sgea Mega Drive (Genesis) konzola. Omogućen će biti i online multiplayer, kao i razni načini pohrane vašeg napretka u igri i lista achievementa. Sega Genesis Classics je već dostupan za PlayStation 4, Xbox One i PC, u raznim izdanjima, a ovo izdanje za Nintendo Switch će kombinirati dosada najbolje dijelove prijašnjih kolekcija.
