Zbog trenutačne pandemije coronavirusa, ovogodišnja BAFTA Games Awards ceremonija održana je u digitalnom formatu. Kao što se i očekivalo, nekolicina izdvojenih naslova, kao što su Control, Untitled Goose Game i Apex Legends, ugrabila je svoje nagrade, no pobjednik večeri bila je igra Outer Wilds.

Ovaj hit indie studija Mobius Games proglašen je najboljom igrom 2019. godine, a osvojio je i nagrade za najbolji dizajn te novi IP.
