Warner Bros. i NetherRealm Studios počeli su u susret skorom izlasku Injustice 2: Legendary Editiona otkrivati ekskluzivni sadržaj koji ovo kompletno i definitivno izdanje donosi, a koje se odnosi na Legendary Gear opremu koja će biti ekskluzivna za ovo izdanje.

Naime, NetherRealm Studios je putem Twittera predstavio nekoliko dijelova ekskluzivne Legendary Gear opreme za nekoliko dostupnih boraca. U prvoj rundi prikazana je nova oprema za Robina (zlatni i platinasti oklop), Batmana (Bruce Wayne skin), Green Arrowa (nova legendarna zeleno-zlatna kapuljača i tobolac s više strijela) i Hellboya (zlatni rogovi i njegov Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense kostim).
