Street Fighter V beta koju su nepato isčekivali mnogi fanovi krenula je danas s radom, no bila je kratkog vijeka. Ubrzo su se pojavili problemi sa serverom nakon čega se izjasnio i službeni Twitter profil igre. Tamo su se ispričali zbog problema, naveli da će produžiti igranje bete onoliko koliko je igrače koštalo dosada izgubljeno vrijeme te da ne znaju točno kada će problemi biti riješeni:
We have brought the servers down for temporary fixes as of 7:25pm PST. We will make a few fixes and bring it back up ASAP.

Nakon svih sjajnih najava i dobrih vijesti vezanih za kupovinu dodatnih likova u igri (za koje neće biti potreban pravi novac), fanovi serijala nisu bili previše ljuti na ovu blagu odgodu.
